Rare Moritz Daniel Oppenheim painting is among the featured works to be sold by Kestenbaum & Company in its December 2015 Sale of Jewish Art.

Two Dutch Old Master paintings were returned to the beneficiaries of German-Jewish art dealer Max Stern in a ceremony on December 12.

"Using the Past to Create a Better Future" is on display for free at the Old City Jewish Arts Center, at 119 N. Third St., from Aug. 5 to Aug. 31, noon to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
