Couch was on a bus trip with his wife when he was hit in the neck with the hatchet and suffered significant blood loss. Three days later, police arrested 25-year-old Daniel Michael.

Police say 32-year-old Jacob Couch and his wife were sitting at a bus stop when he was attacked by a suspect with a hatchet. Days after the attack, Couch died at the hospital.
