Inspired by a luxurious beach vacation, Kary's birthday cake had pink palm leaves stenciled onto its sides. It was topped with pink and peach roses, a miniature pineapple, and blue paper leaves.

The sheet cake is trimmed with black piping and gold candles with the words "Happy 50th Birthday James!" inscribed.
