EAST LANSING, Mich. (WILX)—Three helmets from Spartan Stadium’s iconic video board have been sold at auction. The most expensive helmet sold for $22,250, and a second helmet sold for $22,172.

The white Spartan helmet shown here is one of three that's up for auction by the MSU Surplus Store. Bidding started at $500. The helmets are up to 29 feet tall.
