On the latest episode of her podcast Unapologetically Angel, WNBA star Angel Reese told her mother she paid off her mortgage for her birthday.

Angel Reese has cracked another barrier and is partnering with McDonald's for their first-ever female athlete signature meal.

That gesture alone seemed to delight her mom, but then Reese revealed an even bigger surprise. “You said that if your mortgage was paid off that you would retire,” Reese said

Reese has been playing in the 3-on-3 Unrivaled basketball league as part of the Rose Basketball Club, which began playing in mid-January. She's also continued hosting her podcast "Unapologetically Angel," and the latest episode featured her mother, Angel Webb Reese.
