Virat Kohli is never afraid to back down from a challenge; on Thursday (26th December), he added another episode. The opening day of the fourth Test between India and Australia at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) was marked by a contentious altercation involving Indian batting icon and Australian debutant Sam Konstas.

The incident happened after the 10th over, when Virat Kohli had the ball in hand and changed his walking path to be in a shoulder collision with Sam Konstas, who did not take kindly to it.

Virat Kohli and Australian youngster Sam Konstas were on Thursday involved in a physical altercation because of which the Indian superstar was fined 20 per cent of his match fee and handed a demerit point even though it was played down as an accidental bump by the 19-year-old debutant.
