The Macy's locations in downtown Sacramento and Citrus Heights are two of the 66 locations it plans to close across the country in 2025.

Macy's is moving forward with plans announced last February to close 66 stores, including at Downtown Plaza in Sacramento, the iconic department store chain said Thursday. The majority of the stores are expected to close in the first quarter of 2025,

Four stores in Southern California, including one in Westminster and another in Downtown L.A., will close by March.
