Brookshire's is asking for letters from kids to give to the veterans on their trip to Washington DC next month. This will be the company's first Heroes Flight since before the pandemic. Many are opting to go to discount or salvage grocery markets to get prices they can afford as beef prices rise.

The 108th East Texas State Fair began Friday morning. This is the first time it’s being held at a new 300-acre site off Highway 64 West in Tyler. Guests will enter the fair off Patton Lane. You can access that road from Highway 31 or 64.
