Danielle Hunter is used to homecomings now. The new Houston Texans defensive end dominated in his home debut Sunday night. Hunter had 1½ sacks and eight quarterback pressures in a 19-13 victory over the Chicago Bears at NRG Stadium,

Hunter, a third-round pick out of LSU back in 2015, developed into a star with the Vikings. He made the Pro Bowl in each of his last four fully-healthy seasons between 2018 and '23, and his 87.5 sacks rank sixth in franchise history. Hunter might wind up in the Vikings' Ring of Honor someday.

The Vikings and Texans have played only five times, but there is plenty of familiarity between to the two teams.

The Texans' offense, led by quarterback C.J. Stroud, sports a three-headed monster at wide receiver. As for the defense, this unit could quickly become the Houston Sack Show. Hunter stressed this week that the excellence spans across his new group of linemen, not just the two stars.
