The latest round of Bafta Rising Star nominations, which hails the stars of tomorrow, positions the series as a signifier of future talent – much in the same way Skins made stars of Nicholas Hoult, Dev Patel and Daniel Kaluuya back in the 2000s.

This year’s crop of rising stars include an Oscar hopeful, an Emmy winner, and three vets of HBO’s ‘Industry.’

Back to Black’ s Marisa Abela and Anora star Mikey Madison are among the actors nominated for the Bafta 2025 Rising star Award.
