The Mercury's schedule before the upcoming All-Star break consists of two road games against Golden State and Minnesota.

Sunday in Indianapolis marks the first time Caitlin Clark and Paige Bueckers meet as professionals, as the Wings travel to Indy to face the Fever. The two teams met once in Dallas at the end of June, but Clark missed what became a 94-86 Fever win with a groin strain .

Moments after all of that pomp and circumstance at the league office, the Las Vegas Aces traded for NaLyssa Smith which sent a Las Vegas 2027 first round draft pick back to the Wings. And as a result, the Aces had to waive rookie Elizabeth Kitley and veteran Tiffany Mitchell in order to make roster and salary room for Smith.

Kayla Thornton, Gabby Williams, Kiki Iriafen and Sonia Citron will be making their All-Star debuts in Indianapolis later this month as they were all chosen on Sunday as reserves for the game.
