The search for those missing after Yemen's Houthi rebels sank a ship in the Red Sea has ended as at least four people are presumed dead and 11 others remain unaccounted for, the private security firms involved said Monday.

Number of presumed dead remains unclear and depends on how many of the sunken vessel’s crew are in Houthi captivity

It is the Houthi rebels’ second attack on a merchant vessel in the Red Sea this week, and their first deadly ship attack since June 2024.
