The parking is excellent and easily accessible to the attraction. Most of the houses are not wheelchair accessible but he could get a good view of the outside and most of the other buildings are wheelchair accessible and is a wonderful and educational activity. Personally, the best time to go is spring or fall. The first time I toured Old Alabama Town was in the spring and the weather was perfect. Last summer my boys and I went in July and it was miserably hot. I hope this helps.
