An impressive building with lots to see in there including the Magna Carta exhibition. We spent a good two hours there and better as an attraction than the Cathedral in my opinion.Full review by Alex B

how do I buy a joint ticket for the castle, prison and the cathedral ?
A:
Castle and prison are on a combined ticket. Cathedral is now separate and a stand alone visit.

We booked online but loads people were just buying on the day

Entry into the grounds is free. If you want to walk the battlements,visit the Magna Carta exhibition and the chapel/prison and have a guided tour buy a day ticket . Well worth it and very good value.

How long do you need here to do all that the combo ticket gets you into Ie the walls, prison etc Would 3hrs be enough
A:
Yes 3 hours should cover it but be aware that because of covid restrictions there may be a queue for the Magna Carta exhibition.
