Is it worth doing to Woodland Walk and seeing the outside of the house/it's setting etc if you can't tour the inside? Are you able to see the "view" from the visitor center/gift shop if you don't do the house tour?

a little confused. If you have made your way to the site, why not see the house. It is really a very impressive Frank Lloyd Wright house and the interior has some great art (from the current owner and Original owner). The walk and the sculptures are a nice addition. What I did was reserve the first tour group of the day. I say "group" as it turned out I was the only on on the tour...a common thing for the first group. So I got a very nice intimate tour of the house, then opted to walk back to my car through the woodland walk, and the sculpture garden. I think the walk is neat. I am a Frank LLoyd Wright fan (his Fallingwater was the reason I got into engineering) so I very prejudiced toward making everyone see his house/buildings. Go see the site, it is beautiful, peaceful place. But consider strolling through the house!!! hope this helps. Cheers!

Hi : The ticket price is $25.-. That gives you a bus ride from the parking lot/ office/ tourist trap to the house, the guided tour and either the nature walk of the property or a ride back. We had an early morning "in depth" tour of Fallingwater that allowed us to walk the trails around Fw, visit the Ohiopyle park, have lunch in town, stop at Cucumber Falls and go on the Kentuck Knob tour.
